DREAMER

APOLLO 11

Apollo 11 was the space mission that changed the world forever. On July 16, 1969, the Saturn V rocket with three astronauts shot into space: Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin, and Michael Collins.

One thing they had in common was a DREAM of reaching the moon and writing history.

SPACE CREW

The space mission had a legendary team on board: Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin and Michael Collins. Together, these three astronauts formed a team that embodied human perseverance and technical perfection. Although only Armstrong and Aldrin explored the moon, they were all equally important to the success of Apollo 11. A mission that still stimulates the world’s imagination.

DREAMER

A MAN WITH A DREAM

From an early age, Armstrong had a fascination with aviation. At the age of sixteen he got his pilot’s license, even before he had his driving license. After studying aeronautical engineering at Purdue University, he served as a combat pilot during the Korean War. He later joined NASA, where he further developed his skills as a test pilot and a spacecraft.

“That’s one small step for a man, but a giant leap for mankind.”
